Very easy to find and accessable to M6 motorway. Lovely countryside views. Very comfortable and cosy room with good ensuite facilities. Friendly welcome and throughout stay. Faultless breakfast. We will be very happy to stay again.

had really great stay on providing breakfast choices and times the night before and the weather was pleasant. i appreciated the queen room with view of wild rabbits, good size shower, as example.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were relaxed.

This accomodation was found by our son in N Ireland, via the internet. At first sight on the map, I was concerned about its close location to a railway, thinking of the noise. Absolutely no worry! The hotel was quiet, clean, beautiful decor, friendly host, great breakfast. Really easy access to the highway to head south to London. Our host also recommended a local eatery where we had our last dish of fish and chips before heading back to Canada - just lovely!
When I make up a bed ( and by the way, the bed linens were really quite beautiful), I usually put a plain matching sheet between the matress sheet and the comforter or duvet. There wasn't one on our bed and I was a bit concerned that I might muss up the top coverlet, making for more laundry for our hosts. My fault. I should have asked the host prior to falling into bed:) Also, it was Charles, not Charle who booked the hotel, but perhaps there wasn't enough room to add the "s" :) no worry; we are still talking to you, each other, and others about our great stay.

The hotel is ideally situated for the m6 which is very nearby. We received a very nice welcome from the owner and he even carried all our bags up to the room for us. Huge room with everything we needed and more. Breakfast was very good too. A great find at such a reasonable price. Would certainly stay here again if in the area.
Reception area rather gloomy and doesn't give a good impression of the hotel but that made the lovely room an even nicer surprise.!

Friendly, clean with basic amenities.
Beds were a little uncomfortable, very soft mattress. Decor could do with modernising, but some people will find it appealing. Overall, warm and friendly, would stay again, not far from alsager village and close to M6 etc.

Ideal stopover for anyone traveling
The owners were friendly, it was like visiting family. The breakfast? Lovely! Cooked to perfection and just what I needed before hitting the road again.
It wasn't exactly a steal, but for the quality and service, it's still acceptable.

Convenient location. We were visiting to attend a family funeral. I shared a room with my mother. A number of the above questions do not seem to apply. The man who greeted us was warm, friendly and helpful.
It needs investment to bring it up to date, but for one overnight stay it was fine.
